On 18th June 2019, as a part of Silver Jubilee celebration Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy jointly with the Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, AJIMS conducted a one day CME on the topic “Diagnostic Imaging and Investigations: Recent Advances and Application in Rehabilitation.” This was the fourth and last in the CME series organized during the Silver Jubilee year.
Dr. Ashok Hegde, Dean of AJ Institute of Medical Sciences inaugurated the CME which was conducted at the AJIMS auditorium. Dr. Harish S Krishna, Organizing secretary of the CME welcomed the guests and delegates. Dr. Sanjay Eapen Samuel, Principal, LMCP introduced the topic of the CME to the gathering. Dr. Abhilash P. V, PRO, LMET and Dr. P. S. B Roshan, Co-organizing secretary were also present during the inaugural ceremony.
Eminent speakers who were experts in their respective fields spoke about the importance of investigations in diagnosis and managing conditions in Orthopaedic, Cardiopulmonary and Neurological areas. 280 delegates including staffs and students attended the CME from colleges in and around Mangalore. Dr. P. S. B Roshan, Co-organizing secretary of the CME concluded the CME by delivering the vote of thanks.
