Physiotherapy camp was conducted in St. ZuzeVaz old age home on 1st of October 2022 on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons. The camp was held from 9am to 12 noon and we started the camp at 9am with screening and assessing their balance, concentration power, physical performance, walking capacity and functional strength. At 10:30am we started with the inaugural ceremony where the Principal Dr. Eapen Samuel felicitated father Anil D’Souza for giving us an opportunity to conduct a Physiotherapy camp and the Principal and Dr. Priya S gave a small speech on “healthy aging”. Later on there was an informative talk on importance of fall prevention which was conducted by Miss. Komal and a group exercise session was conducted by Mr. Chirag where the exercises concentrated on both physical and mental activity of the individual, The program came to an end by distributing soft foam balls for hand exercises to all the geriatric people and the working staffs of the old age home.
